Further information about the Cookies

Cookies

We use Cookies on our website. These are files that store information in your web browser. This requires your consent.
The Cookies are used in accordance with Act C of 2003 on the electronic communications, Act CVIII of 2001 on the electronic business services and on specific issues of the services related to the information society, as well as in compliance with the regulations of the European Union. The websites operating in the countries of the European Union are required to ask for the user's consent to be able to use the Cookies and to store these on the user's computer or other device.

1. Regulations for the use of Cookies
These regulations are applicable to the Cookies of fejesestarsakft.hu website.

2. What are Cookies?
The Cookies are small files that contain characters and numbers. The Cookie is the tool for the information transmission between the web server and the user's browser. These data files cannot be run, do not contain any spy programs and malwares, and cannot access the user's hard drive content.

3. What can the Cookies be used for?
The information sent by the Cookies can be used for the easier recognition of the internet browsers, so the users receive relevant and "personalized" content. The Cookies make surfing more convenient, including the demands regarding online data security and the relevant advertisements. The Cookies can also be used by the website operators to create anonymous statistics about the habits of the website visitors. Using these, the website editors can personalize the website appearance and content even better.

4. What kind of Cookies may you encounter?
The websites may use two kinds of Cookies:
– Temporary Cookies, which are stored on your device until you leave the website.
– Permanent Cookies, which are stored on your device for a longer time depending on your browser settings, or until you delete them.
– Cookies from third parties, which are embedded in your browser by third parties (e.g. Google Analytics). These are embedded in your browser if the visited websites use the services provided by third parties.
Essential session (session-ID) Cookies: Their use is essential for navigating on the website and for the functionality of the website's features. Without accepting these, the website, or parts of it, may not appear or may appear incorrectly.

Analytical or performance tracking Cookies:
These help us to distinguish the website visitors and to collect data about the users' behaviour on the website. For example, these Cookies are used to ensure that the login is memorized by the website if you require so. These do not collect any information with which you could be identified, the data is stored aggregated and anonymously (e.g. Google Analytics).

Functional Cookies:
These Cookies are intended to improve the user experience. For example, these detect and store the device you use for visiting the website, or the data you have previously given and required to be stored: e.g. automatic login, selected language, or other user settings you have adjusted regarding font size, font style or other customizable elements of the website. These Cookies do not track your activities performed on other websites. However, the information in these Cookies collect might contain personal identification data which you have provided.
Targeted or advertising Cookies:
These are used by websites to provide the most relevant information (marketing) for your interests. This requires your explicit consent. These Cookies collect detailed information about your browsing habits.

5. Do the Cookies contain personal data?
Most Cookies do not contain any personal information, and cannot be used to identify the users. The stored data are required for a more convenient browsing, they are stored in such manner so that unauthorized persons cannot access them.

6. Why are Cookies important for the internet?
The Cookies are intended to make browsing more convenient for the users, as they set the advertisements and content for the users on the basis of the browsing history. Disabling or restricting Cookies might make some websites unusable. However, disabling or restricting Cookies does not mean that the advertisements will not appear for the users, but the appearing advertisements and contents will not be "personalized", that is, they will not be in alignment with the user's demands and interests. Some examples for the use of Cookies:
– Contents, services, product placements aligned with the user's demands.
– Offers provided in accordance with the user's interests.
– Remembering the login in the cases you required so (to stay signed in).
– Remembering child protection filters regarding the internet contents (family mode options, safe search functions).
– Restricting the advertisement frequency; that is, numerically restricting the occasions of showing an advertisement for a user on a given website.
– Showing relevant advertisements to the user.
– Geotargeting.

7. Factors related to security and data security.
The Cookies are not malwares and spywares. Since they are simple text files, they cannot be run, and therefore, they cannot be considered as programs. However, some information might be hidden in the Cookies with other purposes (malevolently), so they might function as spywares. For this reason, the anti-malware and anti-virus softwares might constantly want to delete the Cookies.
Since the internet is a tool for browsing and the web servers are constantly communicating with each other - that is, sending and receiving data -, if an invader (hacker) interferes with the process, then information might be obtained from the Cookies. For example, a reason for this might be the incorrectly encrypted internet (WiFi) settings. Taking advantage of this, the hackers can obtain data from the Cookies.

8. Managing and deleting Cookies
Cookies can be deleted or disabled in the browsers you use. By default, the browsers allow the Cookies to be placed. You can disable this and delete the existing Cookies in your browser settings. In addition, you can also set the browser to send a notification to the user when a Cookie is sent to the device. However, it is important to emphasize that disabling or restricting these files might spoil the browsing experience and errors might occur in the website's functions.
– The relevant options are usually found in the "Options" or "Settings" menu of the browser. All browsers are different, so for the correct settings please use the browser's "Help" menu. For turning off the anonymous Google Analytics Cookies, you can install a so-called "Google Analytics plug-in" (extension) in your browser, in order to prevent the website from sending information about you to Google Analytics.
We use cookies on our website to be able to provide the best possible user experience. Please click the Accept button to accept the use of Cookies.
